I agree, far too much CGI in the fantasy world, it's just silly and has the opposite effect of being immersive. It makes you think what you are watching is not real because it's so obvious. Wasn't a big fan, didn't really like it. Granted, the 9.45am screening didn't help! Reviewed it here :) https://moviefilmreviews.wordpress.com/ ... w-thor-3d/

thedude wrote:Quite enjoyed this, it fits well with the whole Avengers thing, so I'm looking forward to it all coming together. Agree about 3D, a waste of time for the most part. Asgard looked spectacular, I've no problem with the cast or style of direction, special effects were pretty good too (although there was one dodgy cgi moment in a battle early on in the film), and I liked a touch of humour here and there. Nice score, though I wasn't sure about that (Foo Fighters?) song at the end. Overall 8/10 from me.

ooh I nearly got to meet you. My mate wanted to stay for the credits, muttering about Green Arrow and things I know nothing about, anyway I got talking to your mate o/
preferred locations Shepherds Bush, Westfield, Notting Hill, Central London, Wimbledon, Islington, Wandsworth thanks
