steve, are you still alive or have you been clubbed to death by the women in your vicinity for this sexist comment yet?

There were 5 of us, so it would've been hard to get seats together on the balcony at around 1.30 anyway.

True, you wouldn't have managed 5 together at that time. How full was it downstairs?

It was empty when we got there, quite full when it started.

This was a lovely film that tugged at the heartstrings in places and had touches of humour as well. It went on too long, and at 2+ hours, it just about held my attention, but plenty of the kids around were getting bored. Whilst it is a family film, it is not really appropriate for young children.

Predictable indeed, but still sweet and enjoyable. 8/10.

The audience were rather badly behaved as well, which is distracting and annoying to everyone else!

Watched this at The O2 tonight. Wasn't bad, but admittedly even I became quite impatient towards the end...which could possibly explain why the theater itself turned into a zoo for the latter half. It was hard not to be distracted by this one child near me who kept scurrying up and down the stairs like a little Haymarket mouse. Her mum even gave up after a while and just let her do her own thing.

I really really enjoyed this film. To be honest though I didn't think i would based on the god awful title and almost as bad trailer.

The thing is... this film did everything that The Descendants didn't do. It kept great pace, interest and the emotion was up and down for lots of the characters and didn't feel at all trite.

I wasn't too sure how I'd feel seeing Matt Damon in this kind of film especially as the Bourne trilogy is one of my favourites ever. I think he did a really good job, a few dodgy bits but then I blame the director entirely for keeping them in. (That jump to the lions raw is cringeworthy for one)

The little girl, how adorable!! I hope she'll make more movies she was a real little gem in this.

Great weekend film.

thought it was very good film, a bit too long for the kids as i saw many of them getting a bit restless, good storyline, and fairly good acting from matt. wasnt one of his best ill admit but it was still fairly good and i loved the little girl, really funny at times.

Of course, I saw shmile too, when I was lurking round the escalator waiting for hopeprince before I gave that up. One woman with a walking stick thought I was working there ("because you are wearing red") and asked me the way to the screening room. So I did my good deed of the day and escorted her in, holding doors open. And I will not wear red again next time, LOL.
