Dreams of a Life

#1 Post by elski » Sat Dec 10, 2011 8:34 am

A filmmaker sets out to discover the life of Joyce Vincent, who died in her bedsit in North London in 2003. Her body wasn't discovered for three years, and newspaper reports offered few details of her life - not even a photograph.

I saw the trailer for this at the Curzon yesterday. It's very intriguing story, definitely something to look out for

This looks interesting, hope the release isn't too limited.

There's a map on the website showing where it's currently going to screen, and there's a 'demand' button at the side if there's not one near you at the moment. :)

Ah, thank you!

Unsurprisingly, the nearest screening to me is over an hour away. Here's hoping they add some more screenings soon; I'd hate to miss this.

Use the 'demand' button, it does work in getting more screenings sometimes.

I have done, just hope it works! I haven't seen a bad review for this so far, and the story seems so fascinating.

Senna is no longer my documentary of the year!
Go see it!
10/10

(You can also wait and read sf's review -that I am sure will be as eloquent and passionate as usual- if you need more convincing...)

Can someone confirm - is this a documentary or a drama? I've seen it as having actors.
