Nice to see Danny DeVito back as The Lorax, he hasn't done much recently.

Have they shown the Lorax yet in the UK? I am surprised no one has mentioned anything yet. I saw at the cinema a few days ago, it's very cute and very funny. Reminds us that Danny DeVito really needs to get back in front of the camera more often.

No, it's not released yet!
A horse walks into a bar and the bartender asks, "Why the long face?"

A pony walks into the bar and whispers, "I'll have a beer, please." The barkeeper asks, "Why are you whispering?".
"I'm a little hoarse."

I just had a look online, it was originally due to be released for Easter in the UK but they moved it to the summer, presumably based on how well it's done in the States.

The film's smashing, just smashing.

Went to a screening at the Odeon West End this morning with my big kid in tow. There was fun in the foyer from 10am, the usual face painting and balloon bending stuff, but also plenty of food and drink (mini muffins, danish pastries, lollies, fruit on a stick, salmon canapes etc.) plus popcorn at the seats. We arrived at 10.30am and first bagged some seats then got some goodies and met up with prettyxcool. Raineylb was there with kids too. What annoyed me was that there didn't seem to be a guest list so anyone who had a printout of the Lorax screening ticket could have gone in - and there were a few empty seats. It also started 15 minutes late, probably owing to the huge number of parents and kids still having fun in the foyer. We were sat at the very back and I had a kid in front of me which was good but half way through the Dad decided to move to that seat and put the kid on his lap which meant I had to lean right over to OH to see. He thought I was being unusually cuddly!

We loved the film. It was funny and heartwarming and cute, and even had a message. Could watch this again. I was wondering why there were some minions from Despicable Me introducing the film but it's apparently the same filmmakers. Oh, and the 3D this time was actually really good, I have to say.

9/10

P.S. Got given some sunflower seeds on the way out!

I believe it's the teaser trailer for Despicable Me 2 rather than introducing The Lorax.
