Stunning stuff as war movies go. Must be up there with the best of them.
Was rather pleased to see certain people pop their clogs though!
Logan Lerman looks about 12 though too. Lol.
I must admit that I was rather distracted by the laser fire zapping about between both sides, especially as it seemed to be colour coded - red for Allies, green for the baddies, but I am reliably informed that tracer fire - every fifth bullet - is indeed coloured with phosphorus to give that effect and show where you are shooting. It did just look a little too fake to me.
Another gripe - is M*ther-F***er not a modern invention of an expletive? From black American ghettoes. I don't recall this ever being a swearie-word in the 1940s. I may be totally wrong there too though.
PLenty of realism. Plenty of story. Plenty of excitement.
Definite tingles up the spine at a certain scene too.
No mention on screen of this being a true story either, or follow-up blurb at end detailing further outcomes.
Oh, and for Beate's benefit - it was Edith Bowman again on the red carpet rather than Alex Zane.
9/10

Edinburgh was packed.
This was brilliantly done. War is not pleasant and this showed it in all its horror.. Life in a tiny tank in those horrid conditions you could just about smell the sweat mud and blood. Very graphic and very real portrayal.
This was excellent. A real war movie done well.
Stuartboy - it was Lauren Laverne last time on red carpet and yes Edith Bkwman tonight. Her dress looked like a Laura Ashley 1980s one dyed found in a charity shop with hair brushed about a week ago! Bizarre red carpet outfit then covered up with a scabby winter coat?! She did do really well trying to coach even a few words out of Shia la Boef. He's nuts!

I thought the red carpet stuff was meant to be live via satellite at these things, but watching how quickly it went from broad daylight to pitch dark, it was clearly edited.
I'm guessing Bradley wasn't for giving anyone an interview either. Wonder what his current project is - he looked like Cap'n Jack Sparrow with rose-tinted shades.

Glasgow Fort packed for Fury incl the STV film critics from Moviejuice.
As others have said . . .a gritty war film with many parts where I was even afraid to breathe! All of the actors played their parts to perfection although I did notice a few continuity errors. I found the tension to be palpable in the screening room and noticed only a few folk went to the toilet! I would have hated to have missed any part of this film although I did find the female interest a little superfluous.
Marks 9/10
Preferred cinemas: Best: Glasgow Quay, Glasgow Braehead, Glasgow Renfield Street, Glasgow Fort & Paisley
Others I'd go to: Glasgow Showcase Baillieston
Films already booked for:

Watched this at a rather disappointingly half full cinema in aberdeen. I thought it was a great movie, the character portrayals were very believable and the they acted their friendship/comeradery so well. I agree with the previous poster regarding Shia la Boef, but Edith Bowman dealt with him well. Although I don't normally enjoy war movies, this one I would thoroughly recommend. It gets a 9 out of 10 from me.

Stunning movie, loved the White phosphorus and even the laser tracer fire became better thro out the movie. Very explicit for a 15. After watching "night will fall" in cinemas a month ago, I was totally up for watching a even more modern take on a wwII movie. Hope this director gets offered a Star Wars gig, if that overrated Godzilla director can get two Star Wars films, this guy needs at least one. Hope people don't sleep on this as it deserves the big screen and loud treatment. I'll catch it again (in 4k) for sure

This was brilliant! I'm about as traumatised as Norman though. The cast was excellent and worked well together, really liked Shia in this movie. There was a few laughs at Brad Pitt's security guy when he was doing his thing on the red carpet lol and more when Edith interviewed Shia Labeouf. 9/10

Preferred cinemas: Any in Edinburgh!

I think Brad probably spent more time going round that extremely long set of 'red carpet' railings around the square doing fan pics & autographs that he ran out of time for an interview.

Watched this last night at Croydon Grants. The cinema was 90% full. Excellent Film, enjoyed the rapport with Edith from the Red Carpet interviewing the stars.
Favourite cinemas Croydon, Islington, Wandsworth, Shepherds Bush and all of the West End
