How to Train your Dragon
I saw the trailer today at Cineworld, Boldon. It looked good, and it will be in 3D. There were some funny moments, and I think it will be appreciated by children and adults alike, as the jokes seemed to be on two levels.
From the studio that brought you "Shrek," "Madagascar" and "Kung Fu Panda" comes "How to Train Your Dragon." Set in the mythical world of burly Vikings and wild dragons, and based on the book by Cressida Cowell, the action comedy tells the story of Hiccup, a Viking teenager who doesn't exactly fit in with his tribes longstanding tradition of heroic dragon slayers. Hiccups world is turned upside down when he encounters a dragon that challenges him and his fellow Vikings to see the world from an entirely different point of view.
Due to be released: March 2010

Re: How to Train your Dragon
The latest trailer, one that doesn't focus on the comedy, made me want to watch it, hoping some of the poor jokes work in context or are excised, reviews are relatively positive for this one, apparently akin to Kung Fu Panda in storytelling, character and non-pop culture humour, always a plus.

Re: How to Train your Dragon
My son read the whole series of these books by Cressida Cowell a few years ago and they were hilarious - very full of toilet humour which appeals to young boys but also some great cliffhanger moments - if true to the books this should be an entertaining movie - am going to the free viewing at the Metro Centre on Sunday with the family and anjiRose.
ps hope to see you there andrews

Anyone knows if these preview screenings that are being lined up are in 3D or not? I've managed to get tickets to the screening at Westfield on 27th and I do hope its in 3d...

Re: How to Train your Dragon
I was wondering that. Although the poster on the Seefilmfirst page does have 3D on it under the title 'How to Train Your Dragon'. Hopefully they'll have it on at the VueXtreme screen if it is 3D.jupe17 wrote:Anyone knows if these preview screenings that are being lined up are in 3D or not? Yes, the poster does indeed say in 3D so we shall see. Managed to get tickets for the Westfield showing too after trying again this morning on a whim...
Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads.

Re: How to Train your Dragon
There is no reason why it shouldn't be in 3D as Sky is launching 3D at Westfield on Friday 12 March: http://uk.westfield.com/london/offers-e ... westfield-
