Little Fockers

#1 Post by superhero » Sun Dec 12, 2010 1:48 am

No previews for Little Fockers so far :( and the posters have been few and far between. Maybe they expect people who have seen the first 2 just to turn up?

saw this yesterday on cineworld codes, to be fair it was a third film of the day and we were a little cinema-fatigued - we were gonna make it four but the boyf drew the line at going to see burlesque. This film is crap, tired, predictable and not funny, I cannot fathom what people were laughing at, maybe they had all over-indulged on turkey and sprouts and it was just wind, I'm giving it a generous 4.5/10 and that's just cos it was over relatively quickly.

i also saw this yesterday, pretty much agree with what spanner says, jokes were predictable, cold see where most of the storyline was going, best part for me was the remix on the credits, which tied in with the relief of it finally being over!

Definitely a xmas turkey, some will enjoy it, but even De Niro can't save this one, although the erection gag was kinda funny (to begin with). Wait until it's on TV.

Thanks for all your comments on this film. I think I will save my cineworld vouchers for something more worthwhile then.

I wouldn't quite say that, I will update the box office thread soon, but it was actually a disappointing opening about 1/2 the opening attendance of Meet the Fockers. Whilst True Grit has been one of the biggest Coen Brothers openings for a long while (if not ever)

It seems that I am not of the same opinion as others but I did actually like this film. Yes its predictable and not as good as the first two but I do like Robert De Nero's character in this film. He is very likeable. Its one of those films that you just dont need to think too much about whilst watching it, if that makes any sense?!?!?! Just go with the flow 7/10

Clearly this film still made money if less, so there might be a part 4, I wonder how they are going to stretch it out, maybe Fockers go to Vegas?
