Blue Valentine

#1 Post by Beate » Mon Jan 03, 2011 9:39 am

One of the standout films at the 2010 Sundance, London and Cannes film festivals, BLUE VALENTINE is an intense, beautifully observed story of a love found and a love lost, starring Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams. The film centers on a contemporary married couple, charting their evolution over a span of years by cross-cutting between time periods.

I just got my tickets for a Member's Free Preview at Picturehouse next Sunday!

Well I'm really annoyed. I took at a membership at my local Picturehouse Cinema, only to find tha they are not doing this screening and that my memebership doesn't entitle me to go to another Picturehouse. What a waste of money :(
I really wanted to see this on a preview
preferred locations Shepherds Bush, Westfield, Notting Hill, Central London, Wimbledon, Islington, Wandsworth thanks

Ah thanks Beate, even more annoying is the fact that I could have gotten a half price membership if I'd waited a few days.

Ah well I'll get the vouchers out I guess

I was watching the trailer for this. I was so bored. The tone of the film reminded me of Monsters.

I'd be happy to be watching Tangled next Sunday (although am hoping for the 16th screening instead. :cross: )

I got my tickets for Edinburgh Cameo screening this Sunday.
I suspect it may appear as a Guardian code later in the week?
