I found the first half amusing in places, but the plot became increasingly ridiculous, with rather juvenile attempts to be "shocking".

Cliched, tiresome and a very poor attempt to capitalise on the very bad, but as bad as this, Silver Linings Playbook. Both tried to make entertainment from depictions of the mentally ill and neither were amusing.

Enjoyed this very much. Avoided some more obvious plot lines for the most part. Well acted. Whimsical, rather than credible but that was fine with me.

I found much of the film tedious and uninteresting. The dark forest scenes were tiresome and the film relentlessly cliched and dull. The climatic fight scene lifted the tedium a bit. I generally like a bit of whimsy but the`fairy' scenes just seemed plain weird and out of place with the rest of the ...

Very much enjoyed the film. Great scenes, well acted. Kept me engaged throughout. Like others, I have no idea about its historical (in)accuracy, but it was certainly entertaining and lacked the corniness period dramas tend to have.

Comic book violence. One guy who was shot soon reappears entirely unscathed. Passable but no more.
