Re: The DUFF

Saw this at cdl bristol...cinema quite full considering it sounded like a hurricane outside!

Predictable teen movie and felt it trying too hard to be funny in places without success but otherwise fine to switch off for a few hours and the actor playing Wesley helped...what a hottie!

Re: The Maze Runner

For those with tickets for the Heat magazine showing, any ideas on which edition as I can't find it in the magazine (11-17 Oct)?

Re: Lawless

Saw this at Vue Extreme screen last night - really enjoyed it. Must confess to not seeing the trailer or knowing what it was really about before I saw it (and didn't know it was based on a true story) but I really enjoyed it. Is quite graphic with the violence but doesn't go OTT and the story has ...

Re: Young Adult

I'm undecided whether I liked this film or not (my OH clearly didn't like it and was nudging me the whole way through to go but I was determined to see it to the end!) The story certainly isn't conventional in terms of a romcom (but then I guess they've probably classed it as a dark comedy or ...

Re: Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol

Saw this last night in Bristol and thought it was great - best MI film yet. The stunts were awesome and I really enjoyed the comic aspects of the film too - stopped it being too serious - to the point where you could've got fed up - so a great mix of action and comedy - but then Simon Pegg is the ...

Re: New Year's Eve

Saw this last night in Bristol. Cinema was almost full I think. I thought the film was ok. Not too serious and didn't require a lot of thinking which is sometimes all you are looking for in a romcom! Rather predictable in places - but what mainstream film isn't nowadays! Good film to get you in the ...

I really enjoyed this film and didn't expect the little twist at the end. 8/10 plus Ryan is hot!!

Re: Friends with Benefits

I enjoyed this film but just your average rom com really. I thought Mila and Justin both played good parts though they were too much like brother and sister for me - no real chemistry as lovers! I have to say though that all I saw when Mila spoke was Meg from Family Guy!

Re: I Am Number Four

Saw this at Odean in Bristol last night - cinema was pretty full but annoyingly they had subtitles (those for the deaf) which was distracting and ruined it slightly for me. Otherwise, I enjoyed the film. My husband thought it was a lame but the male lead was hot so who cares!
