Yes it was in parts but i thought it was better executed. In my opinion Tamara Drewe is too alike e.g. both feature an adulterous partner, a dog that gets murdered and a murderer who appears to get away with their crime in Keeping Mum while the writer in Tamara Drewe his.
Just hoped it would have been better, it has had mixed reviews though, some love it and some hate it, like marmite really lol :giggle:

I was surprised to find that I actually enjoyed this. It was funny, enjoyable and a comfortable movie to watch at home. The scenery was also notably excellent.

7/10

Signed Tamara Drewe Promotional Cow. Yours If You Can Find It.

Written on October 5, 2012 by Rich Johnston in Film

Welcome to Clapton in London. Originally “Clopton”, meaning “farm on the hill” and now more infamous as London’s “murder mile”.

And today, home to a Tamara Drewe promotional cow.

Created to promote the graphic novel-adaptation from a few years back, its udder has been signed by Episodes‘ and Black Books‘ Tamsin Grieg (sic).

And now dumped out by the bins.

If what your flat needs more than anything else is a pink plastic cow with Tamara Drewe on the side and signed by Dr Caroline Todd off of Green Wing, then find transportation and get yourself over there sharpish.
