Well I guess everyone is Avengered to get excited with this new trailer going by the lack of comments on the new one (unless it was posted elsewhere?). I can also understand that this new trailer will be very underwhelming to many. None of Nolans Batman trailers were ever exhilarating in terms of action. But the trailers do convey atmosphere, politics and psychology because that's what these films really are about. This trailer conveys those qualities very well and has Nolan's signature in every frame. Its completely different territory to the colourful, hippy Marvel films! I very much like the trailer, its very dark and I am anticipating a great finale to the trilogy :)

"Not everything...not yet"...eek, could he be talking about his life? :(

I don't need a trailer to get excited about this movie. I only want to watch the Avengers because it's been unanimously praised (and it's got Scarlett Johansson). Marvel films have been IMO, hit (Iron Man, X-Men First Class) and miss (Captain America, Iron Man 2).

Batman Begins was excellent, & The Dark Knight improved it... that's all the anticipation I need.

Well done TheyCallMeMrGlass o/

Though you managed to post the third trailer before me I am glad to see you're still flying the flag for all the Batman fans out there at a time when the media seems to be dominated by The Avengers.

With this third trailer there is finally some excitement brewing, given the lacklustre content of the previous two. However, much like its predecessors I hope that Chris Nolan is not showing some of the best scenes of his movie (a la The Avengers) in his trailers but saving these instead for the film to be enjoyed in full IMAX glory.

Yes, superhero movies seem to be all the rage this year with The Avengers and the The Amazing Spiderman coming soon however, I agree that this trailer conveys more than just explosions, witty one liners and colourful suits.

Like Chris Nolan's previous two entries there appears to be a deep and psychological storyline, dark and atmospheric scenes and some breathtaking action sequences.

There's still hope yet that this will be something truly epic.

I try to avoid watching trailers... the only time I do is when I'm at the cinema and I can't avoid them short of shutting my eyes or nipping out to the loo. As discussed in the other thread so many trailers are full of spoilers these days.

cant wait, its the one remaining superhero movie that can threaten to top AA now.

In the sense that its always nicer to get things better as the year goes on, rather than poorer and poorer films.
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?
