biggins wrote:Sorry you are under pressure from your neighbour to go for a walk with you Diane. Does she go for long strenuous walks on her own? She may think it is a walk where she can just walk quickly and chat as you go along stopping when she wants to.

Perhaps the only option left is to tell her it is 4 miles at a very quick pace and tell her the route as she may not realise just how far 4 miles is.

If she then still insists she can do it then go with her and keep up a very quick pace the whole route without talking to her (explain talking slows you down). If she can't keep up and doesn't manage it then you are out of it for the future as she will not ask again. If she suceeds then at least you know it will not slow you down and you could invite her ocassionally but make the most of the early mornings when she can't go.

No weight lost this week  but no weight gain either so suppose that's okay. Probably becoming too complacent and expecting to lose a lb a week now without trying so hard as I did at the start.

Next week I have several meals out so doesn't bode well for losing weight. If friends are cooking for myself and others don't want to say I am trying to lose weight as it then becomes the topic of conversation everytime anyone meets see you. You feel guilty if you haven't lost a ton of weight by the next time you meet them. :( Better if they meet you and say "Have you lost weight since I last saw you? ;)

I agree with you, biggins, re telling people you're trying to lose weight!! Sorry you didn't lose anything this week, but at least you haven't gained. In case you're worried for next week, allow for the meals out by being as good as you can at home!!

Biggins, you're still doing great! You don't have to lose weight every week to be making progress. Next week will be better, even if you do eat out. If you can't control what you're eating, perhaps work on portion size, and drink lots of water to fill up on that. Your other meals that you make yourself will make up for it anyway. ;)

Staying the same weight is still a positive and thanks girls re my friend, she doesn't walk at all on her own. I will get her to come on one of my walks when I can also include a DVD on the same day ie weekends and see how she keeps up. She is so lovely and hard to be selfish when I really want to.
Loads of my friends are also cutting down or on a health kick so its OK to mention healthy meals.

It'll be pure muscle Rawr, Biggins, the main thing is not to gain, you've done well o/ . diane, that sounds well awkard but great advice from Biggins.

I am just too hungry today so opting for a treat day. i won't put up what i've been scoffing as will give you all too many unhealthy ideas.

Doing a bit of voluntary gardening tomorrow, should be a good bit of exercise.

Have a good day peeps 8-)

Been to Asda shopping today and got a few bargains. Two punnets of British strawberries for 75p still in date and less than 40p a punnet!! An avocado reduced to 40p. Salmon fillets also reduced.

So today I had the last of my granola with semi skimmed milk, a banana and a cup of tea.
Lunch was bowl of homemade lentil and bacon soup. A strawberry yoghurt with 6 strawberries. Tonight I will cook the salmon and let it cool then will flake it with chopped boiled egg, chopped avocado, lettuce, vine tomatoes and cucumber. Notice no bread and no potatoes Havingascreen - think that was my downfall this week.

Telly watching tonight so will have celery sticks to munch on and two crispbreads and a cup of tea before bed.

Preston has gone from being a budgie to an eagle - I have gone from being a "chick" to an old hen!! :p

Enjoy your holiday Havingascreen.

Being with the bf today ive been naughty, so today shall be deemed as my treat day!

Breakfast
2 crumpets and butter as it always is(98_98+est.100= 296)
Lunch
MACDONALDS(VERY BAD)
Had a sweet chilli chicken deli meal BUT only had a few chips before lumping them on the bfs already huge 20 nugget meal(20 nuggets 2 large fries and 2 cokes) and I naturally had a diet coke)
Sandwich is 590kcal, few chips ill round up to 100 just to be safe, and apparently 4kcal for the diet coke! so we'll make it 694kcal(jesus christ!)
And dinner will be cereal of sorts, deifnitely need something light after that!
Thats the problem I find with mcdonalds, its a load of crap, in a tiny package yet you feel like your pregnant afterwards, literally feel like my body is rejecting the crap! Hence why I avoid Maccies like the plague! I did try to opt for a subway but BF's argument over value for money sort of won out!

Exercise:
Not going to the gym since my legs are STILL aching, but on the upside i wil be going to work tonight, so lots of walking and ill be rushing around town before heading to work too, such as dropping to the bank, trading in at Cex, and discussing my best mates date tomorrow whilst probably window shopping, so hoping to burn off the maccies crap!

Going to head to the teeny tiny council gym tomorrow anyway no matter how my legs feel! Need to get moving seriously!

My mom is attempting to cancel my fitness first membership due to financial difficulties and theyre still being arses about it!

Have a fabulous holiday havingascreen and a treat day is always good o/ rawr-xoxo the sweet chilli deli meal is delicious so I don't blame you.

My Cambridge diet chicken in tarragon was gross but I still ate it; lesson to be learnt I should cook from scratch as its not as though I'm short on time - I have 6 hours after getting in from work before I go to bed

I think that he was bigging himself up (literally) saying he wears eagle smugglers rather than budgie smugglers and I'm sure that you are still a hot chick :D
