Your day sounds lovely wondering around and trying out new foods. It drives me made when food goes mushy especially after just 2 days. It would never enter my head that too many sandwiches would be a problem as I just add things up as calories and try to get a balanced diet (until MrG has words with mebiggins wrote:Didn't lose anything this weekbut I knew I had eaten too many carbs with all the sandwich lunches. At least I didn't put on weight so that in itself is something.
I won two tickets for the Edinburgh Foodies Festival which starts today and is on over the weekend at Inverleith park so hubby and I going there today. So that will be my exercise for the day - walking and sampling!!!A dry and warm day today so will be nice to wander round all the stalls and watch the cookery demonstrations.
Had granola and blueberries for breakfast. The blueberries didn't keep even though they were in the fridge - only b*ght them two days ago and just managed to get enough for the breakfast and had to bin the rest as they had gone mushy.![]()
Lunch will be the sampling at the foodies festival.
Grilled fish for tonight.
I see the weather is to be very hot down south so enjoy your day.
Menu of the day:
Smoothie with strawberries and a banana (250 calories)
Ham salad roll (as I'm on a one woman mission to eat all the rocket, spinach and watercress still in the fridge - OH is getting a bit fed up with all the salad and veg hence he got fish and chips from the chip shop last night
Asda Thai green curry (356 calories) I got this for a day when I was short on time but needs eating up today even though I have plenty of time followed by pineapple and ice cream (150 calories)
I will have a 140 calories worth of chocolate buttons as I still have my bag left from my Easter egg but not enough calories left to eat the whole bag - I will get help.
Exercise of the day:
It will be a weekend programme 1 hour exercise DVD and a 4 mile brisk walk- not sure which day for either as I want to do 2 coats of emulsion over the weekend in my living room so depending on how long it takes me it may be 2 coats today and 2 lots of exercise tomorrow or one of each over today and tomorrow and then its just the feature wall to do - I am going to hang my curtains first and then make the decision whether to put it opposite the fireplace or opposite the window
