Re: Love Is All You Need
Saw this in Glasgow and I was pleasantly surprised. Didn't realise it would be subtitled but I didn't think that took away from the enjoyment of the story. It was heartwarming, funny and filmed in beautiful locations. Thought that Trine Dyrholm was excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed.

I have to say that I was not expecting much from this film based on the title, so was pleasantly surprised when it started with Danish speakers and subtitles. Despite some of the idiosyncrasies regarding Pierce Brosnan not speaking in Danish (surely he could have learnt some words!) and the obvious developments throughout, overall the film worked for me, beautiful scenery and above average performances - definitely much more than just a rom/com. 9/10

Really enjoyed the film. Have to say I went in quite low expectations, but was pleasantly surprised. The scenery was breathtaking, lovely Italian music and a good storyline. Very funny in places, and I felt that the mix of 3 languages worked well.
Almost a full screen in Islington. Shame they weren't giving out free ben & jerrys, but Greece and I made up for it earlier with a visit to Leicester Sq to stock up before the film.. so didn't mind too much.

I don't think much more needs to be said, because most of my feelings of the movie have already been said!

A horse walks into a bar and the bartender asks, "Why the long face?"
A pony walks into the bar and whispers, "I'll have a beer, please." The barkeeper asks, "Why are you whispering?".
"I'm a little hoarse."

Re: Love Is All You Need
Edinburgh was full tonight.
They tried to cram a lot in, didn't they?
I enjoyed it, despite it being a bit cheesy.
I thought it was better for not being in English.
Strange to see something Danish with no dead bodies..........

Re: Love Is All You Need
It was sweet if predictable. Maybe a bit too sweet and too predictable. And for the story it told unnecessarily long. More of a rainy afternoon at home on the couch viewing than a reason to get out and go to the movies. But it was pleasant enough, had some funny moments, so add that to good company and it wasn't a complete waste of time.

Re: Love Is All You Need
This far too slow and predictable and only redeemed by the beautiful scenery, lovely soundtrack and excellent performance by Trine Dyrholm. Regret picking this film over going to my nearest Ben and Jerry's for free cone day! 6/10

I didn't realise it was subtitled, I actually thought the mix of non subtitled worked well. Saw it in a packed Sheffield and actually enjoyed it although not my preferred film genre. My mum loved it so we settled on 8/10
