Nothing exciting apart from beautiful scenery. Anybody can guess the rest of the plot after some time.
My OH's drawn a conclusion that this movie is about
a (cheating) short fat man without a loaded wallet(and many credit cards) lost his wife to a tall, wealthy, and handsome(ish) businessman
8O

Saw this on Tuesday in shepherds bush.
When it started I went omg Subtitles (hate them)
But stuck with it.
Although I was glad peirce Brosnan was speaking English (less for me to read lol) it felt very lazy ! Was a little like the film producers said we need a big name. p*y them whatever they want doesn't matter if they speak the laungage or not. We will fix around them

Film overall was nice. Nothing special but predictable ending.
More the type of film i would watch if on tv and if there is nothin else to watch rather than cinema.

Saw this film on last Sunday morning. Lovely Sunday viewing. Didn't realise it would be in Danish but after 5 minutes didn't even realise (keen viewer of Borgen, The Killing and The Bridge anyway). Would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone if you enjoy and appreciate films that aren't action packed, have a story line and filmed in beautiful locations (Sorrento). Off to see another film (completely different) this Sunday morning (Olympus has fallen).

Really enjoyed this. Bit more light-hearted than her other films but just as enthralling.

Well, it was clear that this was the Telegraph screening, as it was one of the few screenings where I have been one of the youngest! The commentary - or questions about the bits they had missed - from some elderly members of the audience at other side of the cinema, in very loud voices and at 'sensitive' moments - had me (and friend) in tears of laughter. (Much to Steve9872's confusion as he could not understand what we were laughing about.)

Enjoyed the film, its acting, location, etc. (and Pierce Brosnan did do some Danish - not much, but some). Thought the signalling of the outcome of the wedding was too overt and from too early, but that was a minor issue, in a nice film. Agree with dfletch08 that this lacks 'depth' compared with earlier Bier films, although my mum - who saw it in Glasgow - thought it was 'deep'. (I wonder if she kept these thoughts to herself at the time or told the entire audience..  )

Well I'm glad that so many of you enjoyed this because I thought it was terrible. Nothing seemed right to me and I found Pierce Brosnan to be annoying to the nth degree. "Can I kiss you before we open the letter?" Give me strength.

Just saw this at Islington Vue. Quite busy and seemingly with hoards of people doing their to rustle popcorn, open tupperware and eat a packet of biscuits during the whole film. However, in spite of that the film was actually much better than I expected, if a little predictable. I'm not a big Brosnan fan, but in this film my instinct to punch him seemed to be slightly less than usual, which was an added bonus. Yes, there was lots of beautiful Italian scenery and the odd cliche, but after watching Olympus Has Fallen last night, this was welcome relief.

Saw this today in Croydon. Thought it was a nice romcom with beautiful scenery. I would love to visit the Italian setting. Very touching father and son scene at the 'Wedding'!
