Menu of the day:
Porridge (300 calories)
Banana sandwich on rye bread plus a weight watchers fromage frais (350 calories)
Large salad of mixed leaves including rocket plus peppers, cucumber, tomatoes and spring onions. 2 onion bhajis with yoghurt dressing (yoghurt, garlic (melted from frozen a la moviemann), mint and cucumber) and a teaspoon of mango chutney. This is extremely filling so its good. I need a recipe for homemade bhajis so if anyone knows of one please let me know. Thanks so much.

I will do a Tiffany workout as working late.

Hey unfortunately I've never really like onion bhajis hence never really learned how to make it, I will ask my wife, she is a baker by profession and has her own bakery business so she has a very good knack for working out recipes without much trial and error , I would need to really enjoy something and try it a few times in order to be able to make it properly

Wow that is amazing. We must be in the mood for exercise I've done my Tracy Anderson DVD this morning.
moviemannn wrote:Hey, I hope your tandoori turned out well! Although strictly speaking the only difference between tikka and tandoori is simply the cooking method, tandoori is cooked in a very hot tandoor oven whereas tikka is usually barbecued or cooked on a grill, please let me know how you 'tandoorified' ( :D) it and the next time I make it I will attempt to make tandoori chicken a la lady Diane :)
After I marinated my chicken with the yoghurt, garlic, ginger, lemon juice and tandoori spices I cooked it in a hot oven in a tin foil bag hence steaming it and then opened up the bag to brown it for the last 10 minutes. Turned out lovely and served it with a large salad with a yoghurt dressing made with garlic, cucumber, lemon juice and natural yoghurt, probably not very authentic Indian but delicious.
Please thank your wife for the bhaji recipe.

Thanks for saying so, guys but I've still got a way to go yet! Took the dog out for an hour long walk for some easy cardio and then undid all my good work with a hot dog on my shopping trip to Costco! :wall:

Don't knock yourself as your metabolic rate will still be high from walking the dog so will be digesting it at a rate of knots. I still can't get my head around the weight you have lifted today.
