It's by far the funniest show I have seen in a long time and tickets are from £15 or £10 on Lastminute. Only seats about 100 so doesn't matter where you sit and it's only hour so you can have a meal before or after. Finishes next week so go and see while you can. I've seen twice now and am thinking of going again.

the same company did The Murder Before Christmas which was a highlight of last year for me.
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?

I can't recommend it enough - I was literally crying with laughter. I see a lot of theatre and lately I've seen some gems. I saw The School for Scandal today at Waterloo East which I can also recommend and again tickets were only £15.

Sorry, but I can't agree. In this particular show significant action takes place at the very back of the performance area in the centre. Avoid side seats towards the wall as your view will be significantly restricted.

Pleased to hear that as I'm seeing it this week.

Channel 4 is making a 4 part Documentary Series about West End Musicals and they need everyone's help to get the dirty details!
For the first time, television gets its camera behind the scenes of one of Britain’s most successful arts industries – the West End. London now beats Broadway for the creation of hit musicals and in Westenders, we reveal the naked truth behind the production of these `sink-or -swim’ ventures and the heroes that get those shows on the stage.

This is epic obs doc, oscillating subtly between the intimately microscopic (individual stories of triumph and heartbreak, boom or bust) and the big-picture, revelatory telescopic , with some of the biggest producers and theatre owners all telling it like it is and revealing the truth behind the curtains and what it takes to make a hit musical that costs you or me a cool £50 to £100 for a ticket at the box office but tens of millions to mount a production.

Never before has TV documented our British Broadway. Now it’s glee-time in the West End.
They are currently looking for:

What's going on with VIVA FOREVER??? -- any fans or insiders who might have any insights to what is going on over there - how people are reacting to the show closing, etc.

SUPERFANS! People who are HUGE THEATRE FANS! You know the ones - people who camp out all night to get tickets, people who'd rather miss a meal and see a show than eat, someone who has seen Les Mis 100 times, etc! There's a whole group of these incredible fans out there, and if you ARE one of them or KNOW one of them, PLEASE CONTACT CHANNEL 4!

WEST END MUSICAL CHARACTERS / STORIES - General stories or people who would make interesting characters for the documentary. They are always looking for that person to feature and who really encompasses what it's like to live, work, and breathe the West End!

IF ANY OF THESE FIT YOU OR ANYONE YOU KNOW, PLEASE SEND AN EMAIL ASAP TO @ amanda.jones@freshone.tv

I wouldn't rather miss a meal, it's just there's often no time coming straight from work! :p

I'm a bit sad there weren't any free tickets to Viva Forever. I'm curious, just not curious enough to p*y for it.

It is one of the worst musicals I have ever seen and definitely not worth your money. I feel like I wasted an evening of my life even when I saw it for free.

I have noticed lots of competitions for it coming out of the woodwork now it is closing so you should keep an eye out for those.

I feel you looking at me but I've never seen a show 100 times or missed a meal so I can afford theatre :p (and I've only camped out for tickets once)
