How To Train Your Dragon
Re: How to Train your Dragon
Just this minute got tickets for Manchester, it was full earlier this week when I tried.
Hope theres still some left for anyone who wants to go.
Now need to decide whether to see this or Happy Ever Afters.

Re: How to Train your Dragon
It's normal that tickets get released in batches. It still might be a mad screening with lots of screaming 5 year olds, LOL.

Ha Ha... and me dragging my screaming boyfriend along.... had to bribe him with nachos and popcorn... there should be a section on here to rent a child for these screenings!

Re: How to Train your Dragon
metrocentre was packed some people and their wass-eye popcorn got turned away. Plenty of kids at this screening and one very ignorant and obtuse man. I'm a bit disappointed it wasn't very funny and i think the kids must've got bored too seeing how many loo trips were made. Not the best film of this type i've seen and i don't think the 3D was used to best effect but it was a bonus that it was a 3D screening. 4/10 from the spanner clan.

Re: How to Train your Dragon
Have a feeling i may have been sitting infront of you Spanner... I was on my own as the o/h was oncall.... Thought it was an okay light hearted film with a nice story but nothing special would give it 6/10....
Cant understand why they would release more tickets than seats as i know some of my friends were turned away and the security lads (who i know) said there was quit alot trned away .. pleased I got there early :O)

Re: How to Train your Dragon
Went to Glasgow (thanks again to Spanner and my fairygodmother), it was 98% full. We were 5 mins late as I was so sick yesterday I only printed out the tickets this morning and had issues gah! My husband had to sit himself but the rest of us managed to sit near each other.
Compared to the books, it wasn't as funny but we only had one toilet trip from our 7 year old so that's a good sign. I thought it was good and would have been happy enough to p*y to see it so 8/10 for us!

Re: How to Train your Dragon
i saw this at metrocentre, there was 8 of us, the 3 kids in the premiums seats lucky things lol.
This screening was 125%full, people standing at the front and some kids on there bums crossed legged on the carpets.
lots of the usual kid rustling, chatting away but that was okay, and someones food smell made me starving!
So the film.... i really liked it, i was having a few giggles, the animation was superb, and 3d was just excellent.
And sexy Gerard Butlers scottish voice helped too
4.5/5
