Yeh thats true, I'm only teasing you, I was gobsmacked to see you weren't there though yet! Normally you're the first!

I left at 5:10pm and got there for 5:55pm and went straight in. I ran out of the office while my manager was on the phone - didn't want him to ask me questions about where I was going. :nono: I was also the ONLY one out the office. EVeryone else seemed to have no intention of leaving, looked very bad!

I think I was literally the first in (by accident, not design) and probably the first out, too. I had time to kill between the end of the matinee and the start of the film so it was easy for me.

I arrived at 6:00 but had to wait for my friend who turned up at 6:35pm and so we didnt get in because the cinema was already full. Its not his fault though, he did warn me that his boss is very strict and might not let him go early and that he may turn up at 6:20ish. He actually told me not to bother about him but I insisted and if he is late, so be it, at least we can maybe hang out and do some catchup talk as we dont get to meet that often (but we know each other since school days). And so we ended up doing what we used to do back in our teenage days....hang out in HMV, lol. Well not quite the old days as we probably go have a drink and go clubbing after...not appropriate for us today as he is married with 2 kids now! There was a The Making of Kickass coffee table book on the feature shelf and I thought ok, dont rub it in! I'm a little dissapointed to miss the film today but my friend more so as he made so much effort to get out and run for the bus and 2 trains! But at least we got to catch up on talk

Thanks for reviewing Beate, I thought some of you might find it overly gruesome as I had seen the red band trailer. It does disturb me that a young child has to act out such violence and filthy swearing and how on earth do film makers get away with it, isnt there a law for this? Or has Hollywood its own laws?!? But the film looks like enormous fun and I will definitely catch it on its cinema release next month.

Not only were the rest of the fmukers were there but they all seemed to have accidentally sat next to each other, lol.

He he, there was certainly a lot of waving going on!

Btw, a tip for going to the loo after the film at the Haymarket - if you don't want to be stuck in a queue a mile long, go to the downstairs ones - not only are there more cubicles, but there is hardly anyone in there!

I've noticed that alot at screenings. People did it for Up last year too. Avatar I think got some claps too. Can't remember them all!
I'm used to the clapping phenomenon over the years at various film premieres, I'm one of those stupid dodos who also clap to an object that has absolutely no possible way of acknowledging my gesture....

Never mind the clapping, some overexcited people even whooped at the start!
