I think it is wrong that I enjoyed this soooo much!

A lot of people have said it is aimed at teenage boys ( & there were quite a few geeky ones at our screening in Brighton - which was packed by the way!) but I'm a lady in my forties & it is def the best film I have seen this year!

I have an 11 year old daughter & am gutted that she won't be able to see this for years (it really isn't suitable & I won't be persuaded!) - she would love Hit-Girl as much as I did!

Hope your feeling better Andrews...

I watched it in Leicester and the night vision googles were going at full force thought the security guys were really friendly.
Really enjoyed the film wasn't expecting Hit Girl to be so ... whats the word... macho?? is that even right for an 11 year old girl??

Only upset was the volume kept changeing and part way through the film it became so quite. It didn't quite recover so thats was a bit of a bummer.

I would recomend it and probably give it 7 out of 10

Went to see this is Edinburgh the other night.

I thought the Kick-Ass character was funny and got a few laughs out of him but I really thought it was wrong and unnecessary to have a little girl playing a character who swears and kills people. I'm afraid Hit-Girl spoiled it for me.

Just seen the email about tonights screening saying THERE WILL BE SECURITY AT THE CINEMA.

Hope its just for bootlegging and there's no sweet police :D

Think Printworks is ok, but when I've been to Didsbury they occasionally make a massive deal about searching bags and telling you not to bring food in.

Also its understandable for a big release like this, I recall Bruno and Hellboy 2 screenings had people looking out for bootleggers, but I remember one of my first screenings when I went to see Magicians (Mitchell & Webb) and we had to actually hand in our phones until after the film.

After seeing the film (not very good) I thought they were vastly over estimating how popular and in demand it was going to be.

Do I detect sarcasm?

If not, lets just say I expected a bit more, although it was very watchable.

I really enjoyed Kick Ass!

I thought it was hilarious - really wasn't expecting it to be that good! I'm not offended by swearing / little girls being violent though...!

I think general rule of thumb is: you'll like the film as long as murderous, potty mouthed, 11 year old girls don't offend you.
