I was a bit disappointed if i'm honest, after recently reading the book I had high hopes but the film doesn't even come close, hated the way they changed the ending. It was ok though an enjoyable way to spend a Sunday morning, bit sad in some parts.

I've not read the book so had no expectations. I thought the story was good with a bit of a twist. I did really enjoy it, although found it pretty sad in parts too.

Seen this film this morning (thanks to Dian65)
It did have a promising start but then it fell into rich, beautiful girl falls for tough but flawed man. Did think the ending was a bit weak and thought it could have been grittier - haven't read the book,it has a different ending?
Who was his dad? The credits rolled quickly and people got up so missed his name, will be looking this up later, thought his acting was good.
It did pull on the heart strings and would give it 7/10
