Dallas Buyers Club
Saw this film gripped from begining to end, score 8/10
Re: Dallas Buyers Club
Thought Jared Leto gave a brilliant performance. I'd give it 9/10, only drawback was that Ifound it abit slow towards the end. I heard it cost less than $5million to make this, which makes me appreciate this film even more.
Re: Dallas Buyers Club
Brilliant and very moving. Matthew M and J L were fantastic... puts things into perspective

Re: Dallas Buyers Club
How do you expect to be taken seriously BAFTA when you ignore the film Dallas Buyers Club and the outstanding performances of Matthew McConaughey and Jered Leto ? Let us hope they both take Oscars on 2nd March, and you will see how foolish you were to ignore the film.
Re: Dallas Buyers Club
I had high hopes for this film, and I wasn't disappointed. Great acting from both Leto and McConaughey, and was gripped by the story. I did find that the end seemed to be a little slow but I think generally the rest of the film made up for this.
It was great up see McConaughey play a different type of character and really show off his acting skills. I actually believed in his character and loved the fact that he went to such lengths to get into character.
Leto was again superb, but he always seems to go the extra mile for films and does seem to be overlooked generally. I was shocked that the BAFTAs didn't have one nomination for this film and really hope that they win some awards.
8.5/10

Wonderful film, superb acting from all. Felt like I was right there with Ron fighting his battle and actually felt like jumping up and shouting a couple of times, especially at the supermarket scene. Learned a lot.

Initially I wasn't looking forward to this film and was going to cancel my tickets but I'm so glad I never because I absolutely loved it and have been raving to my friends about it. The cast were superb and such a truly inspiring story. Ten out of ten from me.
