I take it today is weighing day, I have once again only lost 1lb I know slow and steady is good but there's slow and there's SLOW
I have failed miserably on the saying no to friends but MrGlass you have put a curse on me after my smart (sort of) answer to working in a bungalow as I had to visit a patient who lives on the 18th floor twice last week and the lift was broken (still not fixed), I was half dead by the time I got there!! :noo:
Hows everyone else doing?

What, its weighing day already!?!? What the?? I think I've been abducted by aliens as I seriously dont know where the hell 1 of my weeks has gone, I though weighing was next week. Guess I go better step on the scales in the morning too. So to everyone participating in the project, as Diane's reminds us...ITS TIME! Lets have you weighing stats in :)

Up and down 18 flights of steps, Diane? twice? Crikey, must have been agonising...for the patient, waiting for you to reach him/her

And here it is!

Fantastic results from everyone! But who is the winner? On first glance it seems to be Allsinging with a knockout 4.4lbs but in 4 weeks, still fantastic, more than a lb a week. Diane maintaining that absurdly consistent half a pound a week loss is making me wondoering if she is a computer program...well done slow coach ;) But the winner is.....

ANNEJ !!! Another 3lbs loss takes her closer to her target, nearly there, just 13lbs to go. Brilliant, girl.

New comer Kkenedy has also lost 1lb. She sounds dissapointed but interestingly I think perhaps her gym program may needs a change and include interval training. She says she is feeling fitter and stronger so there is a big possibility that she has lost more body fat and has offset some of it with addes muscle mass...which is brilliant! But if wanting to focus on the body fat loss, check the calories intake, and introduce some interval training in the cardio and try split meals into 5-6 in a day. That will boost the fat burn metabolism.

As for me, I am chuffed too. Just 2.6lbs loss this week but I am not focussing on weight loss. If you recall, my emphasis from the start was that we all must think about Body Fat loss. I measures my body fat every couple of weeks too, so I have included 2 extra columns on the sheet. Body Fat and Muscle Mass percentages. If you notice my Body fat was at 30% when we start this project (it was 39% when I started my journey in November, ughh, horrible to even think about that!). Now I am at 23.3% and closer to my initial target of 18%. But I also want to build muscle which started off at 32% and is now at 36.9%. I encourage all to think this way if you have access to Body fat scales either at your gym or your home. They cost from £25. Better brands cost a bit more but really worth it. I'll try recommend some good deals. Omron is the best brand.

But well done everyone!!

Morning guys

Well done everyone with the weight loss and hope everyone is well and happy

Its a rainy day for all of us today so bit of a tempting day to pick..well for me anyway..best plan for me is to keep really busy :p

I'm going to a sweet warehouse on Thursday to get a load of goodies for Selby Funday, well week ( lots of free events including the cinema) and the sweets are to hand out to children to promote our films...not lots just as a treat:)

..and my weakness is chocolate :/ so I've decided to avoid it and b*y all Haribo..see there's an avoidance plan.

....going off on a tangent..when i was expecting my first child i couldn't stand the smell of chocolate...now here's a thought do you think i could get hypnotised to feel that away again...hmm i'm a bit of an eternal optimist :D

Hey Allsining, have a good read of this, and same for everyone else who's mind is often says "Dont do it" while the hands are already swiftly unwrapping that chocolate bar!

http://www.netdoctor.co.uk/healthylivin ... avings.htm

There are different ways to avoid cravings, the above article covers them which includes exercising and secks!

In the evenings, I often feel a slight craving for something nice, so I have a glass of skimmed milk, and that does the trick too.

But Allsinging, if you cant resist 100%, go for the DARK chocolate :)

Well done everyone what brilliant results and I'm very impressed with the fat loss that is brilliant.
Allsinging I think haribo is the way forward I too can't resist chocolate and I never went of any food when I was pregnant or come to think of it I've never ever been of any food
I've got tendinitis in my right shoulder so can't do a lot of exercise at the moment apart from walking so will have to reduce my food intake otherwise slow coach will be letting the side down.
