I don't know some people might like it, but if you are in the same audience as the production people and they are not laughing out loud then that really says something for a black comedy

Oh boy.
I'll still grab a ticket, but that's not too good a sign.

I was really looking forward to this. Superhero's post is making reconsider.

Oh don't let me dissuade you. It's very frustrating, the film is always threatening to be very very funny, but never quite gets there. It opens with a character talking directly to the cinema audience and explaining the pecking order of how life is in Bonnie Scotland and you think hey this is going to be good....and then you just end up waiting and waiting...
Would be interested to see reaction from other screenings to see if the jokes fall flat or not...
I think if you are like me, think Shaun of the Dead is much better than Hot Fuzz, you would probably agree this is worse than either of them

I haven't seen it yet, but I have been incredibly underwhelmed by the trailer.
Go ahead, make my day - by visiting my blog: http://jacobthehobnob.wordpress.com/

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2011" club. I saw 20, interestingly enough. My more realistic target was to see more free films than TheyCallMeMrGlass. I lost.

Just saw it, the few in the audience weren't laughing, I was checking my phone for a majority of the second half, boring as well as unfunny.

The reviews here in Edinburgh are not good and they say it is not even true to the real story. I wouldn't p*y to see it as it has wee Ronnie Corbett in it - that says it all for me!!! :noo: Never liked him even in the two Ronnies.

I don't know why he's the bloody bad guy in it either, means he has a chunk of screentime.

I liked it. Haven't seen a film in a while, so I found it a good watch.
