And yes the idea that Statham was a skilled assassin who could get in, do the job quietly, make it look like a natural death and get out undetected was pretty much discarded after the first 10 minutes.
Overall though I enjoyed it. Not great and Statham gives his customary one-note performance, but it had some fairly decent action sequences. Not quite as absurd as the Transporter or Crank films but still pretty daft. An undemanding watch.
lol ta ...think i'm obsessed with Ed Norton at the mo. that Fight club fixaton has lasted 10 years..
which reminds me, another fine Jason Statham movie is Snatch.

Just booked two tickets to go and see this tonight, as my friend loves Jason Statham. Looked a bit corny from trailer, but heck its a night out

I saw this a few days ago. Kinda disappointing, largely unmemorable, predictable action movie stuff.
The plot twist was so obvious it would have been better not to have it, and that would have been more of a twist if you see what I mean.
6 out of 10.

Just back from seeing this, the plot twist was so predictable. Not bad if you like action films, lots of violence though.
