Ran from the Trocadero shopping centre in Piccadilly Circus after meeting Youtube legend Freddie Wong at a mass gathering of Twitter/facebook followers and queued up for this. I wisely escaped out of the cinema as soon as I could in order to retrieve my phone and camera.
I thought the footage was spectacularly shot although there was that inherent and much-commented on issue with Bane's dialogue. I have to admit, I did understand 30-40% of what he said, but only because I had listened to all the criticism and listened hard whenever he spoke. Mind you, none of it really sticks out in my memory and to the average cinemagoer it must have just seemed like extended mumbling. What we must remember is that the scene does indeed take place on a plane - I thought the mask was an excellent addition and I thought the voice itself was very well done, although combined with the noise of the wind and of the plane I think it got a lot of people.
Good thing I got out of there early. Was able to b*y a bottle of water before watching classic MGM musical "Singin' in the Rain" at BFI Southbank. It's the third time I've seen it, although there's something very different about seeing it on the big screen.
