Re: Not Receiving Email Alerts

Steve is not alone - I have been getting the same alert every hour. I thought it was a problem with my e-mail which has been doing weird things of its own recently but thought I'd better check.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

We arrived @Crawley @6pm having gone straight from work but there was no queue. We asked security if many had gone in as we hadn't had a chance to eat & were told only about 30 & as it seated 470 we shouldn't worry. We opted for a quick burger so that we wouldn't miss the red-carpet footage only ...

Re: Chalet Girl

Took my daughter to see this in Brighton on Sat morning. Arrived far earlier than anticipated (I think the early morning rain meant that a lot of people stayed in bed!) but glad we did as the cinema filled up fairly quickly - not to the point of turning people away but only least popular seats left ...

Re: Tangled

I took my 11 year old daughter (who I thought may be a little too old for it) & my 8 year old soon (who I thought might find it a little too girly) to Brighton yesterday. The cinema was cold (lots of coats kept on) & only about 30% full but the glasses were free! We all loved it - daughter favoured ...

Re: Kick-Ass

I think it is wrong that I enjoyed this soooo much! A lot of people have said it is aimed at teenage boys ( & there were quite a few geeky ones at our screening in Brighton - which was packed by the way!) but I'm a lady in my forties & it is def the best film I have seen this year! I have an 11 year ...

Re: Alice in Wonderland

I took the kids to see this in Crawley last night - torrential rain & confusion about start time must have put some folk off as there were a fair number of seats left empty. Even the cinema manager commented that they were expecting quite a few more! We were given tickets with our 3D glasses that ...

Re: 500 Days of Summer

I'm with you on that Ms Thrifty. These were the first tix I've had for ages & was really looking forward to it but hubby messed up (he's still in the doghouse!) & I missed the preview. He'll have to p*y for me to see it now & babysit!
