Really? I thought Tom Hardy was amazing, loved his voice and thought he made the most fantastic villain. Enjoyed the film very much, but thought it was a bit too predictable.

Uxbridge was chaos, didn't get any red carpet footage as we were kept outside queuing until almost 7pm whilst Spiderman played out in the IMAX screen.
Chaos is an understatement, have never known anything like it, Uxbridge must be getting popular lol.

Lovely to see you again.

Really enjoyed the film, but my bottom is numb lol.

With the problem my friend had, it was the Manager's fault. I asked her for the instructions she received from Sky/SFF which she gave me and on page 5 out of 7 there is a section 'What to do if'..... I feel really bad as this person did not get in and I did everything correctly. I will be asking for 2 tickets for him to see this with a friend.

I saw this at Greenwich O2 today and even managed to snag some balcony seats! The film was completely amazing. I'm undecided on whether or not this is better than the last two entries, but its perhaps the most gratifying for the amount of awesome things that happen. Bane, but particularly Hathaway as Catwoman were both excellent, and Bale was as dependable as ever. Passionate, emotional and gripping throughout I'm going to struggle to put all of my ideas in a review for this but for now its solid 5 star entertainment.

I can't wait to watch this next Wednesday at the imax! I wonder if I'll be able to fight back the tears this time..

Back from IMAX science centre. ID checked by IMAX staff whilst ticket handed to SKY rep. We must had about 30 people in front of us and we were there around 17:50. So who knows what time the first one started queuing. No phones taken. Just a reminder not to use them. And where was the logic in asking us to move up one seat when there were two entire rows empty at 19:10?

The film itself was great but not awesome. I felt at times that the film had bit missing like something happened but we didn't see it. And that happened a lot. Fight scenes weren't the best. Perhaps it was the editing. First time seeing anything in a 70mm IMAX and tbh still couldn't tell you the difference. My friend who was the projectionist told me the IMAX scenes are the ones where the film takes up the entire screen whilst the normal film is cropped. I disagree about Bane. Thought he was brillant as the villain. OH did not recognise Tom Hardy and wondered where he was in the film. Every time I saw him I thought how big is his neck?! Anne Hathway exceeded herself as Catwoman. And Bale is the Batman. I don't think anyone can play him better.

Watched this at the 70% full O2 tonight. Not exactly chock-a-block due to the ID checking system perhaps?

The movie was great...but (and it pains me to be odd one out again), it was nowhere near as good as The Dark Knight. Personally, I enjoyed even Batman Begins a bit more. I found the first and last thirds of this to be equally epic, but the middle portion left a (relatively) great deal to be desired. Thought some of it was a tad too reminiscent of the first chapter, a little too rushed and not all that interesting either.

Ok that's the bad. The good: Anne Hathaway. Poised, sophisticated and uber-confident. This is the best I've seen Anne Hathaway in any cinematic production yet. While the movie didn't quite manage to blow away my expectations, she certainly did. As for Tom Hardy...well...he's a far better actor than what he had to work with. On the other hand, displaying emotion with half of one's face covered isn't exactly the easiest feat, so no grudges there. And for all you guys moaning about his incoherence let me just tell you, if you'd heard what he sounded like at the prologue shown last December, you'd be damn grateful. They cleaned up his dialogue BIG TIME! I managed to understand about 98% of his lines. That's over a thousand percent improvement.

In terms of direction, once again Nolan donned his Michael Mann hat and went (mostly) the same route as he did with The Dark Knight. So this felt less a superhero saga and more a crime thriller. The story was probably the weakest point, courtesy of one of my most hated writers in the business (David S. Goyer *blecch*). Thankfully Nolan manages to weave most of this noise into a taut, exciting extravaganza.

Still, as negative as much of this sounds, it's only meant to sound this way because of the greatness it had to live up to. It's an extremely worthy sequel, a fiery conclusion to an emotional and powerful trilogy. A chapter I will strongly recommend to all my friends, but not one I'm likely to revisit as many times as its predecessors.

We arrived at 5.30pm and there was a queue already, albeit not a very big one. This changed dramatically though until we were let in at about 6pm, told to have our ID ready, our phones switched off and NOT reserve seats for others. Some people did anyway. Downstairs didn't look full btw. Saw ZoeBanfield, milkchocmonkey, hdaniel82 and andrew.falconer who had managed to sit next to each other, and cinefila1 plus evilzadi who both I think went downstairs after the "no seat keeping" announcement. OH was terribly excited to bag our favourite seats even though we weren't the first ones in. For me, the excitement was discovering, almost too late, that there was a free bar in front of the balcony so I quickly stocked up on crisps and coke - they did have beer and wine too.

It was an amazingly well-behaved audience tonight with no one talking and the most distraction actually coming from ushers and security people walking in and out. I don't even recall a lot of people needing the loo. The seat next to me was empty until the start when a woman came in and sat in it, promptly taking her phone out to play with. I am afraid I told her off quite sharply and she put it away but fidgeted from then on, leaving 90 minutes in.

IF YOU DON'T WANT TO READ ANYTHING BAD ABOUT TDKR, SCROLL DOWN NOW.

The film - boy was it loud. I have never been so glad of my ear plugs!
I am afraid I thought it was dark, dull, dreary and it dragged. As someone said about Batman: "as dumb as he dresses". Didn't understand half of the story (though understood the ugly guy with the face mask just fine) and didn't care much either. Why did Wayne have to growl like that as Batman? He sounded ridiculous. It was lovely to see Joseph Gordon-Levitt and a few other actors, but this contained no humour at all and left me cold. Compared to other superhero movies I have seen recently it falls horribly flat and contained no excitement for me. And it's miles too long. I am probably just a misery arse as OH loved it and people clapped at the end but I'd rather have watched Seeking a Friend for the End of the World twice over instead of this. That had real human drama.
No, actually, I can't be bothered to ask.
I now have a stamp on my hand from the security guard in order to go to the bar and back that says "VOID". That's nice.

5.5/10

P.S. Where can I start a petition to ban Alex Zane from future red carpet footages please?

P.P.S I am going to REALLY enjoy myself now by moving about 90% of Wanted to Past Swaps.

And oh yeah, Christian Bale's Batman voice is still ridiculous.

My plus one was caught up at work, so after all that queuing at the O2, I had to wait for her to get there. But we still managed to get pretty decent balcony seats and when we looked down, we originally thought the downstairs part was closed off. No, it was open, but pretty empty.

Given how everyone was desperate to get tickets, Sky and SFF must surely have under-allocated? I can't believe there were no-shows for Batman.

Balcony was pretty awesome. The seats looked far comfier and we appreciated the little tables for our overpriced Cineworld snacks. :D :D

I liked his voice (dead sexy), just had a little trouble understanding Bane, maybe I need a hearing aid and also one of those gadgets that allow you to hear muffled voices.

Thank your lucky stars you didn't see Battleship then. Hands down the loudest movie-going experience of my life thus far.
