Ms Thrifty shares: It’s quite a long film but rewards patience. I know some of the facts were changed but I suppose there were limits to the liberties which could be taken as both the main characters are real people; this might explain the ending, refreshingly muted by Hollywood standards. mdweaver says: I found it all a bit arty-farty. There were a couple of funny bits, his parents at the start, and the fruit cake “cousin” and her family, but was quite bored by the end. No more than 6/10. Discuss this film on the forum
