Re: Fury

Watched this at a rather disappointingly half full cinema in aberdeen. I thought it was a great movie, the character portrayals were very believable and the they acted their friendship/comeradery so well. I agree with the previous poster regarding Shia la Boef, but Edith Bowman dealt with him well ...

Re: Dallas Buyers Club

Initially I wasn't looking forward to this film and was going to cancel my tickets but I'm so glad I never because I absolutely loved it and have been raving to my friends about it. The cast were superb and such a truly inspiring story. Ten out of ten from me.

Re: Olympus has Fallen

Myself and my hubby watched this at a very packed Cineworld in Aberdeen last night. Would have to say we both thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend it. A bit of a cross between Bourne and Die Hard movies I thought with a rather large helping of Gerard Butler which just can't be wrong (my hubby ...

Re: Broken City

Just back from seeing Broken City in Aberdeen at a packed Cineworld. At first I thought it was going to be a bit slow but it turned out to be really quite good and I would recommend seeing it. All in all I would say its a 7 out of 10.

Re: [BLOG] Argo

Like Martadelas I too was a bit tardy to go and see this movie. Finally went last night courtesty of The Daily Mail and it was great! Had me on the edge of my seat even though I knew the outcome! Ben Affleck was outstanding and I really hope he gets recognised for this fine piece of work at the ...

Re: The Paperboy

I'm just back from watching this with my other half and I would have to say we both enjoyed it. Yes its a bit dark in places but overall I thought the story and the characters held you. Great to see actors that you know playing totally different parts to their normal castings. I'll be recommending ...

Re: This is 40

Went to see this movie on Tuesday night and have to say it was too long. Most definitely will appeal to those who are already or are approaching 40 with kids but not worthy of 2+ hours. There were a few younger people coming out of the cinema at the same time as us and they were complaining about it ...

I Give It a Year

Went to see this film on Monday night in Aberdeen and absolutely loved it! Laugh out loud comedy with some great actors. I can see why it wouldn't really appeal to younger viewers but if you are married or have been in long time relationships, its a must.

Re: Introduce Yourself...

Hello, I'm a newbie to the site but have really enjoyed having a look around. I live in Aberdeen so don't get the chance of a free offer very often, but every little helps :-)
